My name is Elisa Gonzales and I am excited to start my 8th year as the PE coach at Willow Bend! I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Sports Science with a double minor in Secondary Education and English. I enjoy coming to work everyday and coaching Willow Bends amazing students!
I am also a Student Council sponsors. When our Student Council was established, we were a No Excuse University campus. This lead to our council being called, Delta Lambda Sigma (DLS), meaning; Dedicated Leaders thru Service. Our StuCo is open to 5th grade students who are ready to become better leaders and improve our school and community! Our Council has be a Texas Recognized Council for THREE years running!
PE During Covid:
Please send your child with a labeled water bottle to school! Students will have a designated spot to place their water bottle as well as hang their mask if needed.

Each home room class has been split into 3-4 different "Teams".
The gym has been divided into 8 different quadrants for their teams. (See chart attched below)
Students will stay with their team and only play and share equipment (if any is used) with their teams.
Coaches are trying their best to keep all students safe during this time. Let us know if you have any questions.
