Hello Willow Bend Family~ 

My name is Janice Hierro and I am the new Assistant Principal at Willow Bend. I am extremely honored to serve the amazing Willow Bend students, staff, and parents. I grew up in Denver City, Tx (not too far from here) and earned my bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University and my master’s degree from Lubbock Christian University.  

I have been in education for over 25 years. I have taught English, Social Studies at Bennett Intermediate, Math and Science at Crestview Elementary, Special Education at Legacy Elementary, and I also served as the Data Interventionist at North Ridge Elementary. I have also taught at Bandera and Kerrville ISD. It’s been such a joy to be part of many wonderful schools and have gotten to work with some of the best educators in Texas. 

Besides spending time with my family (especially my 4 grandkids), I enjoy watching all kinds of sports…my favorite is football and UFC. I am so thankful to be part of the Willow Bend family and I know we are going to have one of the best years! Go Tigers!
