Welcome to the Nurses Office!

 

I am a R.N. with 28 years of experience in cardiac care, wound care, diabetes, psychiatric nursing,  and school nurse at Willow Bend for the past 11 years.  

 

Nurses are located in schools to care for children with chronic health conditions such as diabetes, hemophilia, ostomies, seizures, etc.; to educate students and teachers in health matters;  to maintain community health by monitoring immunizations and illness; to perform vision, hearing, and scoliosis screenings; and to attend to the every day minor (or not so minor) emergencies in the school and general area.  School nurses will administer necessary medications and procedures at school.  We also organize and participate in emergency preparedness in the school.  

       

Feel free to contact me via email, phone, or just stop by my office any time you have a health concern regarding your child.  I have multiple resources, particularly if you are unable to find care for your sick child.  I look forward to working with you to enable your child to function their best at school!
