Hello! My name is Robert Nunez and I am the 5th grade Dual Language teacher this year. I am originally from California, although I spent much of my childhood in Chihuahua, Mexico. My early childhood education took place in Mexico; these years were foundational to my native language. I ended up graduating from Levelland, Texas.
My wife and I have three children, ages: 17, 15, and 12. I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2014, where I got my Bachelors and Masters degree in Bilingual Education, with emphasis in Math, Science and Writing. This is my 11th year teaching at Frenship ISD and teaching at Willow Bend. I taught Kindergarten 5 years, and I’m now in my sixth year of 5th grade, teaching many of the same kindergartners I had many years ago.
